This 11 acre vineyard was planted in 1997 to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah. Farmed sustainably and watered by drip irrigation from an existing dam, our premium grapes are sold to notable wineries. As part of the Sonoma Coast Appellation in an area known as “The Petaluma Gap”, these grapes enjoy a long time to hang on the vine and develop their intense flavors before harvest in the fall.

We are primarily a vineyard only selling the premium grapes we produce to high end wineries who bottle under their own label. Some of these wineries bottle the wine as a “vineyard designate” which means only fruit from our vineyard is in that particular bottle and has not been blended with grapes from other vineyards. Look for the Armagh Vineyard name on the label of those wines.

Currently we bottle the wine made from grapes grown on our single acre of Syrah under the Armagh label. This small production wine yields approximately 200 cases per year. When initially planting the vineyard, we utilized the hillside made up of lighter soils and a warm southern exposure planting one acre of Syrah with the hope it would be successful. It turns out that the site was well suited for that varietal and produces an abundant crop of “cool climate” Syrah.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
