A juicy, rich, full-bodied Portuguese red wine blend of 40% Aragonez, 40% Trincadeira and 20% Castelão grapes. Aromas of fleshy ripe blackberries and black plum. Firm tannins will smooth out with 1 hour decanting. Pair with rare meats.

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a yummy Portuguese red blend aptly named for pairing with your fave protein. Juicy red berries, ripe plum, baking spices. Big grippy tannins, medium plus acidity. Well balanced. Pairs well with a rare filet mignon. Tasted 2015 vintage after 2h decant in Feb 2018. 89 points. Great value. Crowd pleaser. Buy by the case for bbq season.
In the visual phase, we have a concentrated and young wine. In the nose, we have a very aromatic wine with a high level of fresh red fruit. When tasted, it reveals to be an intense and fresh wine with round and fine tannins, making it quite consensual.
