Green apple and lime zest pack a punch on the nose and palate. Acidic, but incredibly refreshing and with the right dish, like roast chicken, it would be divine.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a great Australian Riesling at a great price. It was crisp, fresh and delicious. It had great lemon and lime flavors and good acidity. I love a Riesling with Thai food and many other spicy foods.
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon in colour, this dry wine has notes of lime zest, peach, petrol, minerality, blossom, green apple, and ginger.
The high zesty acidity is balanced by intense falovours and medium body on the long, refreshing finish.
Drink now, or cellar until 2016.
Enjoy on its own or pair with summer salads, couscous, or spicy dishes.
Date tasted: November 2013.
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Tatstd April 2013
This is a classically styled Clare Riesling, from its hints of talcum powder, green apple and lime to its precise line and crisp finish. It’s dry and undeniably tart and citrusy – perfect for aging 4-8 years. Score: 91 Source: Joe Czerwinski, Wine Enthusiast, April 2012
