From the Val de Loire wine region, this fragrant Sauvignon Blanc is fresh on the nose with ripe apple, citrus zest, fine herbs and mineral flavours finishing zesty and citrusy on the palate with good acidity for food. Pour with brunch, herbed quiches and goat cheese.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: green salads topped with goat cheese and warm baby beats, quiches, brunch fare, fish tacos.

Reviews and Ratings

J. De Villebois 2018 Sauvignon Blanc is produced from younger vineyards less than 20 years of age with clay and flint soils. Lovely on the nose with gooseberry, citrusy and flinty mineral aromas with great acidity for food. Elegant and refreshing. Chill and enjoy now with goat cheeses, smoked white fish and steamed mussels. - Community Wine Reviews
