From the Luján De Cuyo, Mendoza wine region, Versado 2018 Malbec is produced by Canadian winemakers, Peter Gamble and Ann Sperling, jointly with Esteban and caretakers, Oscar and Soledad at Villa Viamonte. Look for rich cassis, dark plum, ripe red berry, violets, savoury herbs and spices on this concentrated and supple Malbec. Lovely now, better in 2024 as it will continue to evolve in bottle and will start to show its best then.

Malbec food pairings: marinated steaks, beef stews, grilled sausages.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
