A terrific value for such a crisp and toasty Spanish sparkling wine. This Cava (means cave in reference to where the wine is aged) offers aromas of green apple, toasted bread and almond slivers. This is an organic wine. Serve as a chilled aperitif or companion to seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Brilliant pale straw with fine bubbles. An organic cava vinified in the traditional method. Crisp and slightly tart, dominant green apple, freshly baked bread with minerality and a slight salinity. Mouthwatering acidity, well balanced and integrated alcohol, declared at 11.5%. Offering fantastic value , this is a buy by the case option for bubbly lovers. Easy to enjoy at almost any meal and drinks well on it's own. Fantastic. Rated 90/100. Bespoketastings.ca
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Crisp, refreshing and lemony clean finish! It's floral with intense minerality and citrus notes upfront and juicy, high-acid lemon-line notes on the palate. This Cava is bone dry and pairs perfectly with freshly shucked oysters. Tasted Jan 2017 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Cava continues to be a favourite sparking wine for its great value, consumer and food friendliness, and quality. Produced using the same methods as Champange, Cava differs slightly in that it's always been produced with the these three grapes: Macabeo, Xarel-lo, and Parellada. What sets Terra Terrae Brut apart from many others is that this is an organic Cava that benefits from organically farmed grapes which is an increasingly popular but hard to find feature in many wines, especially at this price point. Terra Terrae shows fresh golden delicious apple, almond croissant, and lemon tart on the nose. The palate is crisp, clean, and refreshing with a nice blend of sweet orchard fruit and texture from the fine bubbles. A great sparkling wine for hosting over the holiday season and would be a great base for sparkling wine cocktails on New Year's Eve. Tasted November 2016. 88+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
