Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Beautiful! Made from 100% Pinot Noir, with aromas of pear, lemon, white grapefruit, and a hint of candied strawberry. Disgorged in 2017, the palate is dry, zesty but creamy, with crisp bubbles, a pop of vibrant fruit, and a yeasty finish. Enjoy with smoked salmon.
Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Summerhill Pyramid Winery Blanc de Noirs 2008 is a rich, toasty, zesty 100% Pinot Noir bubble from British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. Golden in the glass, creamy on the palate with a gentle, persistent mousse showing toasted almond, baked croissant, dried cherries, apricot, binned apple flavours and a long lemon curd finish. Poised, elegant and beautifully balanced. Chill and enjoy anytime. Tasted March 2020.

Produced from 100% organic Pinot Noir wine grapes, with no skin contact, this vegan-friendly bubble was made in the traditional method as champagne and with “extended sur lie ageing.” Disgorged on November 15 2017. The 2008 vintage was awarded Gold at the 2016 “Best of Varietal" BC Wine Awards; Gold at the 2016 Intervin International Wine Awards and Silver at the 2015 National Wine Awards of Canada.
