Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This Napa Valley Zin from Storybook Mountain perched up high on the Mayacamas Range between Napa and Sonoma, is a fine example of a dry and refined Zin. Storybook Mountain Vineyards are world renowned for producing some of the finest Zin available and the 2012 is no exception! Dark berries, raspberry, black cherry, herbs, and spice box all around. It's complex and bold making it ideal with full flavoured braised dishes such as braised beef short ribs with anise infused red wine reduction or skirt steak with shallot pan sauce. Tasted February 2016. 92+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
This wine was made using natural methods, according to the back label and grapes grown without the use of herbicides or insecticides in northern Napa Valley. Winemaker Dr. Jerry Seps has managed the tannins in this wine. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
