Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Fabulous! This is a proprietary blend of 43% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Syrah, and 2% Malbec. The blend is aged in French oak for 13 months (35% in new barrels), along with some further aging in neutral oak. Aromas on the nose include ripe currant and plum, with hints of leather, tobacco and hints of black pepper and stony minerality. Full bodied and smooth on the palate with young, smooth tannins and medium+ acidity. Fruit on the palate is round and ripe, with some leather, tobacco and smoky hints, and a mineral finish. Enjoy with a grilled steak or prime rib.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
