Natalie's Score: 91/100

This robust Australian Cabernet over-delivers against its price point beautifully. I also love the Shiraz this winery makes. Full-bodied with smoky black fruit. Great concentration and depth with a good finish. Very satisfying. Crack open a bottle (or two) tonight.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: rabbit with dumplings, venison sausage cassoulet, venison Swiss steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Ruby in the glass with a nose of freshly perked coffee, oak and dark berries. It is dry with medium (+) tannins, full bodied and lots of luscious flavors on the palate - vanilla, oak, tobacco, dark chocolate and red fruit. Great value! It's also $3.00 off right now at the LCBO (-; Reviewed March 10, 2017
Here's your ultimate lamb with rosemary wine. Very full-bodied for the cool climate of Australia's McLaren Vale. Classic aromas of cassis, blackberry and espresso. - Community Wine Review.
