Extraordinary value in this full-bodied southern French red wine with aromas of pepper, cedar and black cherry. The grapes are grown in the southern Rhone Valley in well exposed areas. Great price for this quality. Finishes with pepper and spice. Pair with grilled pork chops.

Food pairings: roast beef, boar chops from the grill, juicy roast pork.

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

This 50/50 Grenache Syrah blend CDR Villages offers great value and typicity of Southern Rhone valley blend. Aromas of cherry, strawberry and one dimensional palate dominant with confectioners cherry. Recommend for value seeking medium bodied red wine lovers. Tasted Sept 2016.
