Vintages Wine Panel: A Silver Medal winner at the Decanter World Wine Awards in 2010, this is a ripe and spicy wine. My note: Gorgeous black and red cherries with liqueur-like concentration of flavour. Full-bodied with a tannic grip so decant for 1-2 hours. Some savoury meaty notes and a nice long finish. Very balanced.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: charcuterie, grilled sausages, Catalan-style beef stew with chocolate.

Cherry-red colour of medium opacity. Aromas of preserves, confected fruit and wild berries in addition to menthol, balsamic notes with toasty. spiced undertones. Long finish with a hint of tobacco leaf.
