Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Chardonnay with an exotic addition of Viognier (24%), both harvested at night, and the Vio added mid-ferment a week after the Chardonnay started. Plenty of green apple, pear, lemon, and peach, with some floral tones in the mix. Soft and moderately textured with good mouthfeel. Mild minerality joins the fruit on the finish while acidity becomes a little more apparent. These two grapes work well in these proportions as the Vio really enhances aromatics and texture. Salmon with cream sauce wine.
From the Columbia Valley, J. Bookwalter Readers 2016 is a dry, medium-plus-bodied white wine blend of 75% Chardonnay with the balanced in Viognier. Fragrant with orange blossom, citrus zest aromas on the nose with lemon curd, honeyed pear and ripe stone fruit flavours on the palate. Pair with grilled, honey-Dijon chicken. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
