A big, bold red with black fruit and berries. Toasty oak with dark spices on the finish. decant for 1-2 hours to soften the tannic grip. Ultimately satisfying.

Petit Verdot food pairings: meat casseroles, hamburgers, pepperoni pizza.

Reviews and Ratings

Our Discovery Series wines embody the essence of all that is Inniskillin. These are rare varieties crafted in small lots to preserve premium quality. Reflecting a spirit of exploration, they demonstrate our commitment to producing some of the finest wines the Okanagan Valley has to offer.

Grapes were hand harvested on November 1, 2006 from the McIntyre Vineyard in Oliver British Columbia.

This 2006 Petit Verdot displays vivid current and cherry aromas. Deep purple in colour, this wine has prune and black cherry flavours that are well balanced with firm tannins.
