From the Beamsville Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine region, Hidden Bench Béton 2021 Sauvignon Blanc is produced from grapes sourced from the Rosomel Vineyard. This was the first Sauvignon Blanc to be aged in the estate's new concrete tanks and was sampled along with an oak-aged Sauvignon Blanc. The SB aged in concrete tanks is fresh with grapefruit, pear, herbal, grassy, subtle spicy and flinty mineral notes fresh, long and textured on the palate.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: herbed quiches, grilled chicken dishes, salads topped with goat cheese and warmed baby beets.

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

First impressions of this single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc from @hiddenbench … wow! Béton (as in concrete vessel fermented and aged) and sourced from the Rosomel Vineyard on Ontario’s Beamsville Bench. Expressive, lovely lemon grass, pear, lemon meringue, floral, flinty minerality, and superbly balanced. Certified organic, and absolutely delicious! Bravo @hiddenbench ! Tasted August 2023. 93 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
