Natalie's Score: 90/100

Another incredible value and full-throttle wine made from 100% Grenache from very old vines and aged completely in concrete, is a naked, unadulterated, unmanipulated effort with great minerality from the chalky, limestone soils and an intensity and richness from the old vines that are normally found in $50+ wines. Loaded with black cherry liqueur, dark spices and anise. Full-bodied and ultra-smooth. Love Aussie shiraz or big chateauneuf-du-pape? Try this. Honkin big and satisfying. Hearty meat dishes will serve it well.

Reviews and Ratings

Cheryl Smith rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

Slightly smoky, full-bodied, and goes extremely well with a roast leg of lamb. If you're new to the Grenache grape, this is an excellent (and lower-priced) place to start!
