Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A deep, dark red wine blend of 68% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc produced from grapes sourced from Fort Beren’s estate vineyards and vineyards in the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys. Fragrant and enticing with aromas of dark cherry, mulberry, deli meat, cooked bacon; dry, medium-plus-bodied, lush and mouth-filling with fresh dark cherry, raspberry, chocolate, cedar brush, savoury herb flavours and beautifully balanced acidity. Tannins are fine-grained and velvety.

Grapes were fermented in stainless-steel tank and aged up to one year in French and American oak barrels. Lovely and lingering. Delicious now, we poured it with a venison and wild mushroom ragu. Tasted November 2021.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
