Reviews and Ratings

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Cherry, blackberry and licorice aromas with a hint of mint. Plush fruity palate and a solid medium-full body. Great with a roasted pork loin.
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a deep ruby red Cabernet Sauvignon from California's Alexander Valley. Aromas of raspberry and herbs fill the nose. Some spice shows up on the palate along with the berries. This wine is best paired with heavier meat dishes.
Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

This is an almost opaque ruby red wine with rich raspberry, mocha and mint notes on the nose. The flavours are also rich red fruit with herbal notes. A full-bodied red with a medium acidity would make this a decent food wine with some heavy red meat dishes.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Sweet spices, eathiness, blackberry and dark cherry aromas with tastes of dark and candied cherry and a touch of chocolate. A very smooth mouth-feel.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A deep ruby cab with some earthy aromas along with red berries and currants. Same berry flavours come through along with some spicy notes on the palate. Would have this with beef and veggie kabobs grilled on the BBQ.
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

Oct 5, 2014: Deep ruby/purple, cassis, blackberry, graphite, cedar and light herb notes. Medium-full bodied, the palate shows blackberry, cherry, toasty oak spice then an odd harsh sort of green eucalyptus/medicinal bite on the tonge, leading to a medium bittering stemmy finish. This wine will be best with food; try with green pepper steak.
Marco Giovanetti rated this wine as 82/100 with the following review:

Pleasant blackcurrant flavors with mocha, chocolate and herbal notes. In the mouth, medium to full body. A hint of barnyard with balsamic chocolate cream. Some green pepper flavors dominate the finale which is quite intense.
