Rich and full-bodied with ripe golden apple, pineapple and nutty aromas on the nose. This dry Pouilly-Fuissé is creamy, weighty on the palate with white florals, ripe apple, vanilla flavours and a lingering light citrus and soft mineral finish. Very elegant. Pair with roast chicken. Produced by B.A. Léger Plumet, prop.-viticulturist, this is a classic Burgundian Chardonnay aged for 15 months in French oak barrels.

Pouilly-Fuissé food pairings: chicken in a garlic, white wine sauce, bouillabaisse, grilled shrimp and pan-fish.

Produced by B.A. Léger Plumet, propriétaire-viticulturist of Domane Du Chalet Pouilly, this 2016 Pouilly-Fuissé from the Burgundy wine region is rich and full-bodied with soft citrus, apple pie, pastry, tropical fruit and butterscotch flavours on the palate. Lovely balance of fruit to acidity and just enough oak to wrap it up. Very complex with a long mineral finish. Aged for 15 months in French oak barrels. Pair with roast pheasant. - Community Wine Reviews
