Lots of cedar smoke and oak on the nose and palate of this full-bodied, rustic, tannic Bordeaux red wine that's well priced for the Bordeaux region, which tends to be very expensive. Decant 2 hours. Pair with a rare steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Dense black fruit and prominent anise, rubber, and vanilla notes dominate this Bordeaux. The palate is chewy spicy and boats a lingering tart cherry note on the palate. Regrettably, I find this Bordeaux lacking in structure and body. For the folks who enjoy funky barnyard notes, give this one a try! Tasted June 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
