Reviews and Ratings

Linda rated this wine as 65/100
The blend of this robust Italian Chianti Classico is always a minimum of 80% Sangiovese and a maximum of 20% of Canaiolo grapes (the 2012 vintage was 90% Sangiovese). The 2012 vintage in Chianti was a solid one that allowed the grapes to ripen evenly and slowly to a good concentration of flavour. The grapes for Carpineto's Chianti Classico grow in vineyards planted in the northerly reaches of the Chianti appellation where the average temperatures are slightly cooler than the rest of the region. The vines are planted in a rounded amphitheatre style called a conca. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
