Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This California Chardonnay is rich and powerful. A bit of golden apple on the nose and palate. Aging sur lie has added nice weight and complexity. Some minerality and wet stones also on the palate. Serve with grilled chicken and fruit salsa. Tasted May 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A ripe, rich, and full Chardonnay boasting baked apple, apple pie filling, a touch of butter, firm oak, and mild smoke on the nose. Quite full, clocks in at 14.5% ABV, with a creamy palate livened by the tingle of oak spice. That butter note reappears on the palate and persists through the finish. A nice Chardonnay that is quite suitable for creamy seafood pasta or peach and feta pork chops.
This is a California Chardonnay from the Santa Maria Valley with a purpose. Cambria Clone 4 2016 is produced by Cambria Wines who created a program called Seeds of Empowerment in recognition of women who have overcome adversity and who have inspired others to do the same. The Chardonnay is buttery soft with baked apple dumpling, lemon curd flavours creamy on the palate. Elegant and long lasting. - Community Wine Reviews
