Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep pretty ruby coloured with reflection of garnet on the rim edge. Aromas are full with cherry, strawberry, cassis, bramble and fresh herbs. Flavours are decadent - smooth red and black fruit, plums, blueberries, roasted smokey red peppers and a touch of rich dark bakers chocolate. Multilayered! Medium plus acidity, body and well integrated, round tannins. A handsome accompaniment with grilled pulled pork and barbecued ribs. 90 points- tasted April 2018
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Cherry and raspberry aromas with ripe cherry, spice, oak and some mocha on the palate. Finishes with soft tannins. Tasted July 2018.
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Deep dark ruby in colour with aromas of black cherry, raspberry, cassis and oak. It is full bodied with well balanced acidity and tannins and has flavours of black cherry, plum, dark chocolate, blackberries and a subtle smokiness. This will pair well with grilled red meats. Tasted on March 9, 2019.
Buried Cane 2015 is a well-priced Cabernet Sauvignon from the Columbia Valley in Washington and is produced by the Middleton family who has been working the land in Washington since 1898. Look for ripe black cherries, raspberries, mocha wrapped up in a whiff of spice. Very nice, well-balanced with a lingering ripe red fruits finish. Drink now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews
