Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Ripe dark fruit aromas, not too jammy, with blackberry and plum in the forefront, supported by some very elegant violet, clove, and cocoa. Twelve months in a mixture of new and seasoned French oak have delivered a fantastic balance of fruit and oak. Full body with plump, soft, and round tannins and integrated acidity. Long finish where the barrels become a little more assertive, but do not throw off the balance. Really quite nice, and a good match for grilled red meats and dark chocolate.
From Langhorne Creek, Bleasdale Generations 2016 is a medium-plus-bodied Malbec sourced from several vineyards and vinified separately. The wine matured for 12 months in French puncheons (12% new). Look for dark plum, savoury herb and smoky oak spice flavours on this well-crafted, balanced and juicy Malbec. This vintage was awarded Gold in the 2017 National and Perth Wine Shows. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
