Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2008 Micheletti Bolgheri, composed of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, is a medium bodied, integrated wine, with intense aromas of cherry, pine, oak and vanilla on the nose and red currant on the palate. It is tannic (decant for 1 to 2 hours) and the finish is medium to long. Drink now and for the next 3-5 years. Drink-how: enjoy with food, not really a sipping wine. My impression: NICE, 89 pts. Tasted Sept/12.

Natalie's Review

Micheletti Bolgheri Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon 2008, D.O.C., Tuscany, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: This complex and delicious blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon offers layered notes of mocha, black fruits, anise and cedar. Dry and medium bodied with fine ripe tannins and tantalizingly complex notes of coffee bean, spicy oak, cedar and a great depth of black fruit. Cellar for 2-3 years. My note: A luxurious and mouth-watering red with full-bodied goodness with lovely plush plum aromas. Perfect for pizza or movie night. Drink: 2011-2014. 211789 13% XD 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 89/100. There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
