Of the 8 bottles purchased, 3 were “off” - fizzy. Returning them all. Don’t touch this wine, albeit the first bottle was nice - about 88.

Need some sunny red to lift the spirits tonight? Here’s a big red from Puglia in Southern Italy. Lots of cooked black plum, prune, blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, licorice, and fennel melded with some alcoholic heat and ripe tannins. BBQ ribs should work nicely. 4 stars out of 5.

Sit back and enjoy the dusty nose of dried fruit and hints of thyme. Medium bodied and unassuming but well balanced with nice fruit concentration. Easy drinking and good value to enjoy with pizza or grilled anything. Tasted February 2020. www.thewineloverskitchen.com

From Puglia, Italy, this medium-bodied Primitivo has aromas of ripe dark fruit, which add to the perception of more sweetness on the palate. Medium tannins with a smooth finish that has notes of chocolate. Versatile, serve with meats like beef, veal, or grilled pork chops and hard cheeses.
