Rebecca Meir-Liebman rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

I love what happens to Riesling as it ages - all the yeasty notes come out and add another layer of complexity to the experience. It is quite rare to find such an old Riesling at the LCBO, and I doubt that they have large quantities of it available. Medium sweetness with good acidity, simpler on the palate than on the nose, notes of grapefruit, lemon, some minerality, and a honey texture.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This Riesling Spätlese opens with an inviting nose that is remarkably fresh 10 years in with lavender and clover notes. Mature, silky and honeyed on the palate. If you are a fan of older, off dry Rieslings this will be a delight. Server with an after dinner platter of mango stilton, dried apricots, almonds and figs. Excellent value. Tasted August 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
