Aromas and flavours of medicinal cherry, mint and cedar.

Would be great with meaty pizza or pork chops or pork tenderloin.

Cherry red fruit with hints of blackberry, violets and earthy softness. Herbs are abundant. Fruit is forward with minerals and soft salinity. Acidity is high and balanced. Pair with smoked cheeses and meats. 88 points - tasted July 2018
Melanie Lloyd rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

On the nose, ground cherry aromas, as well as earthy and herbal notes.

It is wonderfully tart on the palate with sour cherry flavours and black plums, followed by a kick of black pepper, baking spices, and chocolate. This wine is medium bodied with silky tannins and a fairly long finish. Yum!

Light Ruby in colour with aromas of black cherry, vanilla, ripe strawberry and earth. It is medium bodied with well balanced acidity and tannins. It has flavours of sour cherry, plum with some baking spice. This will pair well with chicken, pork or salmon. Tasted on July 15, 2018.
Simon Chen rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Full of bright red fruits, cherry, aromas with a hint of smoke. Very nice body and fruits on the mid-palate, and it finishes with some rough tannins. The rough tannins actually give some nice characteristics to the wine~~~~
David Skinner rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Bright cherry colour with a pink rim. Light cherry and a hint of strawberry and floral notes on the nose. Juicy red berries on the palate with a firm dark chocolate overtone. Medium long finish with a nice balance of fruit and acidity. Plenty of backbone for food. Suggest stuffed pork tenderloin as an accompaniment.
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Earthy and herbaceous on the nose with sour cherry and ripe plum on the palate. Medium bodied with great acidity and a long cherry finish. Would pair well with pork and creamy mushroom sauce. Tasted July 15, 2018.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Bright garnet red with tart cherry, sous bois, vanilla, milk chocolate nose. Satiny palate continues the delicious theme, closing with a tart cherry finish. PInot Noir always very food-friendly.

Natalie's Review

Paper Road Pinot Noir 2016, Wairarapa, North Island, New Zealand: A touch herbal and stemmy on the nose with more fleshy ripe cherries and plums on the palate. Racy acidity for grilled chicken. The Paper Road Vineyard was originally planted on an area that was designated to by a road in the 1890s. Bright and tart with mouth-watering acidity. Medium-bodied and supple.
