Black cherry, red plum skin, grilled herb, sweet earth, and a hint of smoke. 92 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Sean O'Regan rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby, the nose is a bit closed showing some red berry and herbal notes. FMedium bodied and fresh on the palate with light raspberry and cherry fruit, floral tones and fine drying tannins on a savoury finish.

Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

Red fruit and earth.…
Presentation: Plain, simple, label
Appearance: Medium ruby
Nose: Medium nose, with notes of cranberry juice, red cherry
Taste: Dry, medium body, high acidity, sharp, noticeable tannins, with notes of green, unripened fruit, ink, and dirt
Finish: Medium red fruit and earth
Overall impression: A wine with an interesting nose, and a more complex taste profile, but still rather one-dimensional overall. We did not get the typical green pepper notes.
Value: 3.5/5
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

An incredibly aromatic and savoury Cab Franc from the County offering up ripe berry, cherry, blueberry and currant leaf aromas. On the palate, more cherry/berry, spice, voilet, earth and blackcurrant leaf flavours, fine, grippy tannins and brittle acidity. Very moreish. Would be spectacular paired with wild mushroom and proscuitto risotto.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Prince Edward County wineries do Cabernet Franc well - and the Grange is no exception. A lovely medium bodied wine with aromas of red cherry, smoke, leather and tobacco. Tannins are present but not overwhelming. The perfect trio of fruit, tannins and acidity. Grown on a plateau on the deepest soils at the winery that once grew alfalfa. 36 months in neutral oak. The Grange is consistently using neutral oak to let the fruit shine through. A lovely dry - 2.3 g/l sugar medium bodied wine. Tasted October 2017
Lynn Van Der Linde rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

An absolutely magnificent Cabernet Franc!
Heady aromas of leather, eucalyptus, and floral undertones that carry through on the palate with a spicy black cherry finish.
Perfect with beef dishes or robust pizzas.
Tasted Sept 2017.
