Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Medium ruby colour with a speckle of garnet on the rim. Pronounced aromas of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, mushroom and smoke. A small touch of herbs in there too. On the palate juicy and scrumptious cherry and earthy ripe strawberry flavours with an element of raspberry jam and red cooked fruit. Medium plus acidity and body, soft tannins. Medium minus finish with fruit and smoke persisting. Very fresh and svelte. Pair with soft cheeses, and dill stuffed rainbow trout. 91 points #PinotNoir
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely black cherry and herb character, with some sassafras and cola qualities. 90 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A lovely New Zealand Pinot Noir with flavors of plump strawberry, tart cherry, beets and earth with supple tannins and a lingering cherry finish. Perfect with a wild mushroom pasta in a creamy tarragon sauce.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
