Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted Aug 5 2017, with good friends at dinner. Aromas and flavours of Plum, black currant , violet and cedar. Taste dry, medium body, soft tannin with dark fruit. We had a grilled beef tenderloin, with portobello mushroom shallots and wine sauce along with roast fingerling potatoes and fresh local corn. Everyone liked the match.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Aromatic blueberry, cedar and tobacco notes with juicy tart cherry, spice, and smoked cedar plank notes. A delicious medium-bodied Bordeaux red with moderately smooth (medium developing tannins), high-integrated-acid and a long cherry spice finish. A well-integrated, well-balanced value-priced Bordeaux drinking very now. Enjoy with smoked mesquite BBQ chicken wings. Tasted July 2017 by @sommssoa | bespoketastings.ca
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Absolutely gorgeous! Great value. Well balanced, medium plus acidity, dusty medium plus tannins. Cedar plank and ripe blackberry aromatics. Ripe blackberry, violet petal, and aged leather on the palate. Amazing with braised beef. Tasted 2010 vintage decanted 2 h in July 2017. Amazing value, great complexity, ready to enjoy. 91 points.
