Lovely! Aromas of plum, dried berries, smoke, leather, and spice. Medium bodied and luscious fruit on the palate, nicely integrated with some smoky notes and medium acidity. Lengthy medium+ finish. Enjoy with rustic dishes, lamb, mushrooms, or pork.
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Garnet in the bowl. Rich and rounded ripe fruit and ripe tannins, well - integrated. 13.5% abv. Ripe plum, anise, tart blackberry, minerality. Complex, robust, full bodied. Great pairing with roasted red meats, braised lamb shank and roasted root vegetables. Well-balanced with medium acidity, medium tannins, medium plus fruit. Long finish with persistence of stewed red and blackberry fruit. Tasted May 2017. 92 points
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Alluring and smooth. Delicate aromas of stewed plum, tobacco, sage, and earthy underbrush billow from your glass while delectable mouthwatering flavours of plum, dried dates, anise and tanned leather linger on the palate. Enjoy this full-bodied Tuscan golden child with braised lamb. Tasted May 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca

Natalie's Review

Bonacchi Brunello Di Montalcino 2010, Tuscany D.O.C.G., Italy: A smooth, supple Brunello that's approachable now. Often you have to wait a lot longer before Brunello of this age is ready to drink. Attractive aromas of black fruit, tar, violets and smoke. Pair with mushroom risotto or duck comfit. Drink: 2012-2020. 266965 13.50% XD 750 mL  $36.95 Score: 90/100.
