Full-bodied, fruity and bold. Ripe black plum, blackberry jam, vanilla and cinnamon with a hint of grilled green pepper on the nose. Bold fruit on the palate with medium tannins. Pair with grilled beef or game.

The 2014 vintage is deep ruby and 14% ABV. This 100% Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, shows luscious and velvety smooth medium plus tannins, full-bodied, medium acidity and well-balanced. Aromatics of strawberry jam, ripe plum, cocoa, and secondaries of black pepper, anise, vanilla. Dry and intensely aromatic, this is an exceptionally approachable rich wine with complexity on the palate and value priced. A crowd pleaser well positioned for festive occasions and enjoyment with or without food. Pairs well with pot roast or pulled pork. Drink 2015-2020.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon - deep ruby in colour, blackberry, cassis and eucalyptus wafting from the glass. Full bodied, balanced acidity, tannins and fruit. Not overly complex but for the price a great - through the week dinner wine - maybe a beef stew from your crock pot!
Sean O'Regan rated this wine as
86/100 with the following review:
Deep ruby/purple, currant, green herbs and light baking spice on the nose. Medium bodied, with both tart berry/cherry and darker fruit along with some green herb. Drying tannins and somewhat sharp acidity on this wine. It may improve with time, for now best with food. Try with a rare rib-eye or strip steak.
Tasted November 2015.

Aromas include currants and dried thyme, along with leather. Fruit comes through on the palate. Medium body and finish, nice acid would help to complement a variety of foods, including different lamb and beef dishes.
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as
90/100 with the following review:
Nice nose of cassis, dark fruit and a little leather. Great mouthfeel with acid and tannins lead to a great medium finish. This would work well with meat based pasta sauces.

Barossa is perhaps most fameous for it's Shiraz, but here's a CS worth noticing. Beautiful aromatics of cassis and herbs and mint. A seam of dryness contrasts the ripe/overripe fruit. Some fine tannins remind us it's CS.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as
89/100 with the following review:
Black currant, plum, mint, and new leather aromas. The currant and plum continue in the taste with a nice acidic tartness. The tannins are at the right level to give it a nice velvety mouth-feel. I'd pair this with beef stew, or perhaps even a spiced lamb dish.
