Astrid Young rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Hints of black olives and leather up front. smokey and a bit tarry, but the underlying fruit is quite present in shades of black and blue. Some nuttyness on the back, black fruit lingers through the lengthy finish.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Sherry overtones, with caramel, figs, and smoke. The tannins are still grippy, but the acidity and sweetness make it perfectly drinkable. A beautiful Port for nuts and soft cheeses.
Lynn van der Linde rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Intense aromas of blueberries and figs carry through on the palate, with a smooth, jammy persistence. A fabulous pairing with blue vein cheeses or chocolate covered bacon!
Martha Kelly AIWS rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Full-bodied sweetness with intense flavours of blueberry, raspberry, caramel, and sea salt, with a black olive and spice complexity, this wine lingers on the palate while it refreshes.
Pair with pungent cheeses or double chocolate desserts.
Drink now or cellar until 2024 and beyond.
Date tasted: November 2014.
