Tom Vigeant reviewed this wine as follows:

Cherry cola, mint and dried herbs on the nose. Fleshy mouthfeel. Medium tannins. Oak flavours are fairly intense and linger with chocolate on the finish. A little heady.
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Loaded with dark berries, vanilla, cola, and mint. Sweet dark fruit finish. Recommend pairing with tangy BBQ ribs. Good quality to price ratio.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A heady aroma of blackberry, dark cherry, cola, vanilla, and eucalyptus. The palate starts with plush berries, moves quickly to herbal notes, and ends a little tannic. There is a lot of character to this wine and it's a great value for the price.

Natalie's Review

[yellow tail] Reserve Shiraz 2012, South Australia, Australia: Minty blackberry on the nose of this well-known Australian Shiraz. This is the Reserve version of Yellow Tail, and it pulls back on the residual sugar to create a wine that is delicious and balanced. Full-bodied and supple, this is perfect for hamburgers or steak. There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
