Joe Hache Prince Edward Count rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This wine is always in the cellar here at home as we have friends that absolutely demand it when they stop by and it is the only wine they order when we go out to county restaurants!

This Baco Noir is ruby red in colour with aromas of chocolate and dark berry fruit. It is dry and is medium to full bodied. It has a refreshing tangy acidity with flavours of juicy black fruit with light smoke.

And as we have found with our friends ... it can pair easily with most dishes!
Mark Britton rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2011 release of the Sandbanks Baco Noir is soft, easy drinking, and loaded with ripe fruit flavours. Everything from ripe blackcherry, to strawberry, to plum shows with mixed berry on both the nose and palate. There is some light oak but it doesn't overpower at all. An overall well balanced wine with medium acidity and a slightly lingering finish. Pair with pasta, light meat dishes, or fresh fruit. The latter being a really nice pairing which would impress dinner guests.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
