Reviews and Ratings

Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Frontenac Noir and Marquette blended with Merlot grapes in this vintage.
Medium ruby, strawberry and cherry with some vanilla, white pepper/mineral and spice on the nose. Medium light bodied, fresh and soft palate with cherry, red berry, spice and gentle tannins and balanced acidity.
Medium long dry finish. Easy drinking over the next 2-3 years - try with a holiday ham or pasta with a rich meat sauce. This is very well priced at $15.95 and represents great value - available from the Winery.
Tasted December 2015

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
