Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Kismet Estate Winery Viognier Roussanne Reserve 2018 is a beautifully balanced blend with a rich, fragrant nose of Meyer lemon, honeysuckle, ripe stone fruit and mineral aromas. Superbly balanced with the finesse and bright acidity of the Viognier and the round richness of Roussanne. Statuesque and dead on delicious, dry, medium-plus-bodied, mouth-filling with lush layers of ripe stone fruit, brioche, vanilla, notes of mango, passionfruit and a touch of smoke. Finishing long and luxurious with mineral and soft citrus flavours. Perfect in every way.

Grapes were fermented in 300-litre oak barrel with regular lees stirring. Delicious now. Tasted February 2020 and paired with seafood paella.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
