Reviews and Ratings

From the Cariñena wine region, Ignacio Marín Barbacoa 2015 is a dry, fresh and fruity Garnacha and Tempranillo red wine blend produced from grapes grown at high altitudes, and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks to retain fruit flavours and freshness. Fragrant with dried pink florals, red berry and fine herb aromas, on the palate the wine is bright, medium-bodied with red berry, dried fine herbs and earthy flavours and a lingering velvety finish. Nicely done and amazing value under $15. This vintage was awarded Gold at the 2018 Asia Wine Trophy. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
