Juicy with mouth-watering flavours of black plums, blueberries and blackberries. Yes, this is from the producer of Dracula and other movies, but it delivers much more than a box office hit. Full-bodied, plush, smooth and delicious. Some vanilla spice, anise and blackberry roll off the finish. Try it with game dishes.

Zinfandel food pairings: grilled meats, burgers, steak-and-black-bean fajitas.

Reviews and Ratings

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Plum, dark cherry, fig, vanilla bean and white pepper. Rich and spicy, this wine has a little bit of bite to go along with the zinfandel lushness. Would go lovely with peppered lamb
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Cherry and plum aromas with blackberry and plum flavors that offer notes of jam. Smoke and touch of herb provide a nice lasting finish.
Jacqueline Cochrane rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Great value
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

August 17, 2014: Medium ruby, berries, herb and a sweet confected note on the nose. Sweetly fruited, plummy, berry, vanilla, mocha, toasty oak with a sour edge on the finish. Seems to be made for mass appeal of fruity wines with residual sugar, drink over the next year or two with BBQ.
Tom Vigeant reviewed this wine as follows:

Berries, anis and other spices, vanilla. Full body, intense, jammy fruit, oak and alcohol (too heady), some residual sugar.
Full-bodied Californian Zinfandel with hickory smoke and savoury herbs, plush black plums. Black raspberry on the finish. Lot of jammy flavours and pepper. - Community Wine Reviews
