Reviews and Ratings

Perry rated this wine as 93/100
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Slight apple and lime on the nose, faint scent of ginger. On the palate we see ripe pear and green apple, hints of nectarine come through on the finish. Drink now.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This is lovely rose gold in the glass with lots of ginger, pear, green apple on the nose and palate. Medium body, medium finish. It is round on the tongue but bordering on flabby. Drink now while it will still be a pleasant stand alone sipper. Tasted April 2017
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Bright medium yellow colour. This stone fruit aromas of this Pinot Gris’s aromas are a bit subdued and more apples than peaches. This wine is dry, well balanced with some weight to it, and a medium-long tart citrus finish. Would pair well with paté de foie, a mild curry, brown-meats poultry or game. Score 87. (S.Segard, reviewed Mar. 02, 2017)
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted June 27th 2017. Colour pale gold. Aromas of, lime, green mango, melon, pepper, honey and banana. Taste, fruity, light body, dry, medium minus acid. The wine seems tired. My wife thought it was too sweet, even being a dry wine.
From France's Alsace wine region, Boeckel Pinot Gris (2014) is delicate, understated, but on the palate the wine soft, ripe pear and apple. Great to sip on a hot summer day. - Community Wine Reviews
