Zolo Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, Mendoza, Argentina: The 2012 vintage will be the first vintage with famed winemaker Jean Claude Berrouet of Pomerol, Chateau Petrus as an exclusive consulting winemaker working closely with Fabian Valenzuela the current winemaker at Bodega Tapiz. Mr. Berrouet is one of the most famous winemakers and is involved in every facet of the process from vineyard to wine. What an incredible wine for this price! Full-bodied with attractive aromas of blackberry and cassis. Good balance with a long, satisfying finish. This winery produces other terrific reds as well, so keep an eye out for this producer. Pair this wine with a juicy, rare steak and full-bodied conversation tonight. Decant for 1 hour. Drink: 2013-2017. 54098 14% XD 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 88/100. November 8, 2014 Best Value Red Wine.
