Tommasi Ripasso Valpolicella Classico Superiore 2011, Veneto, Italy: This full-bodied red wine hails from one of Italy's top producers, and certainly also one of it's most consistent vintage after vintage. Tasty and full-bodied with lovely black fruit aromas, dark spices and some smoke. I love a half bottle, which is perfect for a very fun night on your own or when you just want a glass and an half each for a certain course, like a meat dish or sausages. Elegant with a dry finish.
