Mission Hill Family Estate Five Vineyards Cabernet Merlot 2008, V.Q.A., Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada: Smooth with a medium- to full-bodied weight. Fleshy ripe plums and blackberries with a smoky finish. Bring this bottle to your next potluck gathering. 145102 13% D 750 mL  $16.45 Score: 86/100. March 28, 2011 Full Review
Château De Gourgazaud Réserve 2010, Minervois La Livinière, Midi A.C., France: Château de Gourgazaud offers superb value for the price in this robust red wine from southern France. The estate has 70 hectares of vineyards, of which 40 hectares are designated AC, the appellation control designation. The balance are Vin de Pays d’Oc, and still yield wines of great quality. This is gorgeous wine country to visit, and even better wine to drink. Aromas of black fruit, toasty oak, tar and dark spice. Pleasantly bitter finish. Try it with grilled meats tonight. Drink: 2014-2018. 986083 14% D 750 mL  $16.95 Score: 89/100. July 5, 2014 Best Value Red Wine. Luscious Lamb Wine Full Review
