Quarry Road Pinot Noir 2010, Niagara Escarpment, Ontario VQA, Canada: Savoury notes with wild dark cherry on the nose as well as woodland violets (not to be confused with open field violets ;) Smooth and medium- to full-bodied with a long finish. The grapes for this luscious Pinot Noir come from the Quarry Road Vineyard. It has an Old World soul with New World energy. A lovely, long finish.
