Loosen Bros. Dr. L Riesling 2013, Qualitätswein, Mosel, Germany: This is a wow wine year after year, and the 2013 vintage is no exception. Dr Loosen makes superb white wines at many price levels, this one being an entry level offering but it's no entry level wine in the sense of craftsmanship and flavour. Lime and lemon zest almost leap out of the glass, with delicate white floral and peach notes on the palate. Light- to medium-bodied and perfect for dishes with a touch of sweetness like glazed ham or pasta in a cream sauce. This Qualitätswein Q.B.A. over-delivers on every dimension.
