Hales Shiraz 2013, Barossa Valley, South Australia, Australia: Black and brooding, and downright sexy Australian Shiraz. A cool February prior to harvest resulted in slow ripening and complex flavours (yay). Recall the southern hemisphere countries like Australia have their "fall" during our spring. Here's a lip-smacking, delicious Australian red wine at a great price! Loaded with aromas of black fruit and dark spice, this shiraz over-delivers and floods the senses. You order the pizza, and I'll pour the wine. So easy-drinking, this wine gets my vote. Well crafted Australia Shiraz. Finishes with liquorice and smoke.
