Zuccardi Serie A Torrontés 2017, Salta I.P., Argentina: The 2017 vintage of the Zuccardi Series A is a Torrontes from the Salta region in Argentina. The Torrontes white wine grape makes wines that are crisp, very aromatic and very easy to drink. It's kind of like the Gewurztraminer of Argentina. Some of the best versions of this wine come from the high altitude vineyards in northern Salta. Intensely lemon floral notes with some acidity. Medium bodied. Chapoutier another fantastic vintage for Les Vignes De Bila-Haut 2017 and fantastic value. Wine grapes are grown organically and biodynamically for this zesty, full-bodied red blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan. Sensuous, flavourful to the last sip. look for dark berries, plums, spice and dried herbs on nose and palate. L.A. Cetto Winery Petite Sirah 2016, Guadalupe Valley, Baja California, Mexico: L.A. Cetto Petit Sirah 2016 is a robust red from the Baja California, and the largest Mexico winery established in 1975. The Petit Sirah (Durif) is a cross between Syrah and Peloursin. Durif gives the wine a deep, often opaque, ruby bordering on purple colour. Ripe dark fruit and savoury flavours wrapped up in smoke and leather. Great value and a perfect pairing to hamburgers.
