Alamos The Wines Of Catena Torrontés 2012, Salta, Argentina: Pretty and floral with very pleasant lime blossom aromas. Medium-bodied and ultra food-friendly. Such an aromatic and characterful wine. It reminds me of some of my favourite supporting actors, which don't always have their name at the top of the marquee, but nonetheless put in a memorable performance. Torrontés is the signature white wine of Argentina. This one especially is a terrific one to try if you haven't done so yet. Great value. Goats do Roam The Goatfather 2011, Wo Coastal Region, South Africa: Juicy purple and black plum aromas with dark spice. Happy, straight-up pleasure in a glass. Full-bodied, but not heavy.
