Château Recougne 2019, Bordeaux A.C., France: From Vignobles Xavier Milhade, Château Recougne 2019 is an excellent value Merlot-driven Bordeaux blend at $17 with 77% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc and 9% Cabernet Sauvignon wine grapes sourced from a vineyard close to Libourne. Smoky and fragrant with ripe plum, dark berry and crushed raspberry aromas with anise spice and smoky flavours on the palate. Tannins are well-integrated and ripe. Good now, better in 2023.
